With many years of experience as a founder, he specializes in sustainability in marketing. At Planted, he is responsible for strategic development and fundraising, with which the company recently secured over 5 million euros in capital. He is driving forward the vision of making ESG management, climate data and impact measurement simple, scalable and economically viable. His credo: "Impact drives performance. Jan Borchert is Chief Sustainability Officer at Planted and co-founder of the company. The forestry graduate combines many years of practical experience in biodiversity with in-depth expertise in carbon accounting and strategic sustainability management. As a TÜV-certified CO₂ specialist and IHK expert for sustainable leadership, he not only supports companies in the development of effective ESG strategies, but also advises them personally on their implementation - in a practical and impact-oriented manner.
